Dragon Age Pictures!
Hey all!
One neat thing that Dragon Age: Origins does without even telling you, is take pictures of your characters journey. At certain points in the story, it will snap a shot, then you can go back to your pictures and relive the MAGIC! I thought I’d share some of the images I’ve accumulated so far.

Confirmed for Spring 2011
Suddenly the numbers on my hype-o-meter have dropped a bit now that I know I have to wait more than a year for my boyhood dreams to be realized or dashed. I’m very glad to have a timeframe on the game though. With the possible hope coming from mere rumors that the game could [...]

Okay, I’m joking of course. What’s really happened was some re-arranging of furniture in the Slurms household. It seems that ever since we took the trees down after the holidays, we’ve been constantly shifting things around the house and purging anything we can in the pursuit of a little bit of order in the chaos [...]
Pondering of the Day: Can an NDA hurt?

Now, I know there are reasons to have an NDA in place with a game. Especially early in the games creative timeline, the developers don’t want to release any info along the lines of ideas that may wind up in another game under construction, or details about the game which might succumb to the chopping [...]

I’ve quite quickly pulled a 180 on my gaming in the past week. I’ve gone from basking on the single player beach, laying in the shade of the Borderlands, Mario, and DJ Hero trees, to swimming in the MMO Ocean. This week I spent a lovely night with Lord of the Rings Online, completed a [...]

Before “The War” started a few weeks ago, my Demoman was sitting at just over 76 hours of play time under his belt. That number being since the game was released. Now, after putting forth over one hundred soldier kills (I honestly can’t remember what I ended with, something like 114) and clearing enough achievements [...]

I was playing an MMO last night that I’m not allowed to speak of and while running through quests I came to a realization as to what’s missing for me in MMO’s. Something console games are becoming increasingly great at; the wow effect. No, I don’t mean World of Warcraft. I’m talking about something that [...]

Well, this past weekend I started playing Fallen Earth. As I mentioned in a previous post, I picked up the game on sale a few weeks ago but decided to sit on it (and spin Potsie) until after the New Year hullaballoo. I’m quite glad I did, and I’m also quite glad I got a [...]

Right now, after reading the headline of this article you’re thinking one of a few things; A. “Oh sweet, DJ Hero, I really want this game, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the stack of cheddar I got from Grammy this past holiday” B. “Hmmm, been thinking DJ Hero looked interesting, but I either [...]

Welcome to 2010 dear readers! These past couple weeks have been quite busy. And when they haven’t been busy, they have been relaxing, hence the lack of content spewing forth from the site. But we’re back baby!
I had to flip back a few pages on this here website to answer a question I asked myself [...]

I was going to write this up as a “year in review” thing for the site, but since we’ve not even been doing this for a year yet, I decided to go a different route because I’m lazy. There’s no game of the year awards or revisiting of articles or podcasts this time around. Maybe [...]
