I didn’t play my claw armed alter ego much this weekend. Not because I’m getting sick of him or anything, I still love the guy, but I need a break from T4.

And, I should continue that I don’t hate T4 either. I’m just finding weeknights to be very hit and miss for action and the weekend is a zerg-fest which makes for some boring times. I’ve been mixing in some scenarios to spice up the game, but since I really want to concentrate Lefty’s time on getting renown, playing in open RvR makes more sense. So this weekend, when I wasn’t playing something else, I floated around T1 on my hoverboard.

That’s right; I rolled a Magus, named Magoose. I’d never played one before, but loved my Engineer so I thought I’d give it a shot. So far I’ve been having fun. I’m not used to having a lot of killing power (as I mostly stick with tanks or utility classes), so seeing people’s life bar’s drop as the floating numbers beat them to death is quite a change of pace for me, as well as the idea of not running up to people to attack. Quite a few times now I’ve been too ballsy with my demon minion placement. “Hey, Archmage, I hope this pink monster doesn’t bother you too much if I put it five feet to your left.”

I doubt I’ll stick with the blue surfer for long, I just needed a break. I’m just very anxious for the RvR pack(s) to get here and mix things up in Tier 4. I really want to spend more time on my Marauder, but there’s only so much pushing back and forth in Praag I can take.
