Thank you very much for the link and plug.
Please please please mix your channels in the next episode like you used to…having Shannon come out of the left one and everyone one else come out of the right one is absolutely awful on headphones!
Otherwise, wonderful as always!
I may pull it down and re-upload it tonight. It bugs me as well. I can’t believe I totally forgot during edit!
All fixed. If you want the mono-version, you will have to go to iTunes store and search Multiplaying and redownload MP010 or whatever podcatcher you may use. Anyone who didn’t update their feeds until after this comment posted, you’re fine. You get the monoversion.
Sorry about that.
I was thinking about the Blogger vs Journalist conversation, and I think the word we’re looking for is “columnist”
Columnist: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columnist
A columnist is a journalist who writes for publication in a series, creating copy that can sometimes be strongly opinionated. Columns appear in newspapers, magazines and other publications, including blogs on the Internet. Readers often open a publication with an expectation of reading a new essay by a specific writer who offers a personal point of view. Some columnists appear on a daily basis and later reprint the same material in book collections.
I think we’re so used to associating that term to newspapers and magazines that it really hasn’t made it’s way over to the online world in a big way, but that is essentially what I think you guys are getting at in this discussion.
Good one Grok! Columnist does retain the professional sound while letting the writer voice opinion. Me likey.
