What a crazy week it’s been with Aion! No, not my experiences in the beta, cause I didn’t have any, but from the server drama. We had planned on going as a group to Zikel when the game opens up to us next week, but then questions set in when NC West announced that the servers would be split between West coat and East coast time zones. It’s going to be the rap wars from the 90’s all over again! Zikel was originally posted as being a west coast server, and seeing as most of our merry band reside on the East side of the lower 48 states, our decision required some consideration. We began to throw out names for our newly appointed casa de la fiesta. Just when we were getting somewhere, NC West says they made a goof and had some of the server time zones misappropriated. Zikel is now, again, an East coaster. That’s all well and good until we come to find out that most of our old Dark Age and WAR running mates chose that as their Asmodian home ground. Seeing as many wanted to keep the option open to roll Asmodian alts with this bunch, we went back to the drawing board. After much consideration (otherwise known as forum trolling by our resident forum diva Zeli) we can now say that the Multiplaying crew, otherwise to be known in game as Ataraxia, will stake our flag in the dirt of…

From what we saw on the Triniel forums, it seems to house a fun bunch, and they aren’t the “Unofficial Marker Sniffers” or “Unofficial Chocolate Lovers” or Unofficial Owns a Stuffed Animal Made From Back Hair” or “Unofficial ANYTHING” server.
