Recently I posted about an iPhone developer I worked with on a mmorpg that never made it out the door. Well, now he’s taking our old mmorpg ideas and his new iPhone coding  experience and putting them together to create the first iPhone mmo! The game is in alpha, but it has the working title: Dangerlands. And not only that, but Dave has released a short video showing a player avatar running around in the woods with a bunch of orc-like things.

More details to come, but to get your mouth watering, the game will be playable on multiple platforms (and browsers), and the graphics will scale, so they will be a bit chunky and lowrez on your iPhone, but it will run. But when you get home and log in, you’ll get the full beauty.

For the first release (slated for November), you’ll be able to make characters, run around town, then go into the spooky forest and kill other players. For my part, I’m creating the zones. I’ll post some screenshots when I can. You won’t want to miss this game! There are gobs of info in this thread.
