I don't normally talk smack in EVE but... after a few weeks of dealing with one annoyingly smug asshole of a Machariel pilot, I can say with great smugness that this kill made my week, and basically covered any ISK losses our alliance has suffered for the past month, if not more.

For those that are unfamiliar with the ISK to dollar ratio, that ship is worth about…. $280.  It was fit with Officer (the best of the best) rated modules, some of which dropped for us.  This particular player always warped to a safe spot behind our station, instantly locking any poor souls who undocked from our station, scoring easy and relatively risk free kills.  In order to trap him, we extensively prepared, putting a cloaked hictor (ship with a warp jamming bubble) on his spot and having a Lachesis and Interceptor ready.  Once he warped to the station to look for free kills, the trap was sprung.  I myself came in second for damage on the kill (no where near the top granted) but I’m still super excited to have been on such a sweet killmail.  People who don’t play EVE may look at this and wonder why it matters.  To those people I say, there’s nothing quite so satisfying as destroying a super expensive ship flown by an overly cocky pilot.

Update: Most expensive ship kill this week on EVE-Kill.  People are now shitpoasting that its not real, so you know its a good kill.
