Nuclear Dawn : Worth a Look?

I was looking through the Steam store recently, and a game caught my eye. Nuclear Dawn bills itself as a game "that combines the visceral action of a First Person Shooter with the deep branching gameplay of a Real Time Strategy title." Teams manage resources and structures, while in a FPS setting with up to 32 players.

There are classes, unlocks, all that jazz.  There is a beta starting on August 25th for those who pre-order, with the game launching in September.  It is priced as a budget game at 25 bucks, with a discount if you buy early on Steam.  Here is some information. While I am not sure if I am going to buy it early, I am intrigued.  Anyone else have this on their radar?

I’ve had this game on my radar for some time now, been following it since last year.

Still following the development and debating when exactly I want to pick it up. Now that its only $25, I’m tempted.

I am torn with checking this out or waiting to see how Firefall turns out. Both look great, want to decide which one is worth my time.
