SW:TOR coming to a PC near you….next year
Suddenly the numbers on my hype-o-meter have dropped a bit now that I know I have to wait more than a year for my boyhood dreams to be realized or dashed. I’m very glad to have a timeframe on the game though. With the possible hope coming from mere rumors that the game could see a 2010 release date, I was beginning to take more interest in the game, which for me, is very unhealthy. Nothing spells “let down” more than a years worth of anxious anticipation.
Okay, everyone back to their respective MMO’s, nothing to see here!

It is nice to have a time frame now.
At least now I know I have another year of possibly making it into the beta.
I can live with that. I think this is the first game that I’ve been interested in where I don’t want in beta and I don’t want it to rush. I have too many expectations and I’ve been disappointed before. I have WoW and Global Agenda to get me through ’til 2011.
And not to be a Debbie Downer, but is 2011 the first estimation? You know how MMOs give a first release estimation and then when that time comes push it off another 6 mos…
Yeah, I’m fully expecting it to be pushed into the summer. Nothing is even remotely “for sure” until there is a numerical date, and we are within a month from that date.
I’m just releived that there is NO WAY it’s coming this year.
Yea, I’m taking it as a positive. It’ll give me more time to just chill and enjoy the games I have.
