So yeah, haven’t been posting much the past week or so have I? Did you miss me? Yeah, didn’t think so, but you could’ve at least acted like it. Well it’s too late now. No, stop that. No I won’t have a drink with- oh you’re buying? Okay, later, but first I want to tell you what’s what with me.

I’m still horribly addicted to Assassins Creed 2. That’s about all I’ve been playing. I think I’m getting close to the end though. I spent the last day and a half at home, and whenever I sat to play, all I wanted to do was move forward in that game. My town Is fully upgraded, I have Altair’s “gear”, which looks BADASS by the way, and I’m now at the part of the game where it won’t let me move on until I collect any codex pages I missed on my way up to this point. I’ll be a little sad to see the game go, but I do feel that it if drags on too much longer I might get bored with it. The way everything is unlocked to you for the first half of the game is very well paced, but now I’m kind of doing the same motions to complete missions. Oh well, more on that in my post completion review.

In Super Street Fighter IV news, I haven’t touched the game. No wait, that’s not a bad thing! I haven’t played it for a few days because, well mostly because of Assassins Creed 2, but also because I don’t want to get used to the fight stick I bought. Steve, you crazy? No, well yes, mashed potatoes, but I want to upgrade the hardware on the stick before going nuts on the game. The standard edition Mad Catz stick is “okay” but potentially very nice if you swap out the joystick and buttons for genuine arcade parts. Which I just ordered today! I had looked into doing this back when the first Street Fighter IV came out, but the sticks were hard to get and somewhat pricey. Now though, the PS3 versions are a mere 45 smackers on Amazon. The replacement parts wound up costing about 60 bucks from Lizard Lick. So for just over a Benji, I have the same quality parts that come in the 150 dollar Tournament Edition stick. If I get ample time, I plan on photographing the process and results of the upgrade, even though I know you don’t care. Just, yeah, act like it and make me feel special.

In WAR news; nothing. I jumped onto Warhammer Online for about 5 minutes yesterday after spending around two hours playing AC2. Not a wise move. Everything felt and looked so horrible, it was very demoralizing. Hopefully I can get this assassin monkey off my back soon. Seriously, the stabbing at my shoulder with his spork and constant OOH OOH OOH AAAH’s are getting annoying.
